Hi. You are probably wondering who this crazy person is who is coming up with all these free ideas, and wondering why. So here is my story.
My name is Michelle, and I am bored and broke. I found myself sitting at home, whining about how there is nothing to do, and the few things that I could think of all cost a lot of money (a lot means about $10 or more). Since I am trying to save money, I found myself doing nothing most of the time – which means a lot of staring at the tv (and I do not have cable, so that limits the options).
Finally, one day I decided that I needed to do something about this. So I challenged myself to find fun things to do for free or for a few dollars, and here I am. There are actually a lot of free activities out there, you just have to dig for them. During my research, I became fed up with the fact that all of the information is scattered about various internet sites, newspapers, and radio ads. So I wanted to bring one site that (hopefully) will centralize all of that information in one place. As the site grows, I hope to be able to add more content for various locations, activities, age groups and more. So keep checking back, to see how we can have a lot of fun together without breaking the bank.
